United Investments Portugal (UIP), owner of Pine Cliffs Resort and Sheraton Cascais Resort, will open a new Hyatt hotel in Lisbon, an investment of 70 million euros, according to a statement. The venture, scheduled for late 2020, will be called Hyatt Regency Lisbon, and will include “luxury hotel rooms and apartments”.
Located in Belém, the project will feature “accommodation units tanging from fully-equipped studios to three-bedroom apartments”, being “promoted and managed by Realtejo – Hotelaria e Turismo S.A, a subsidiary of United Investments Portugal.
The new Hyatt marks UIP’s entry into the Portuguese capital. ”This venture reflects the group’s commitment to the national market, where already has projects in Algarve (Pine Cliffs Resort), Cascais (Sheraton Cascais Resort) and Porto (YOTEL Porto).
